Weldon "Fuzz" Ashford

Weldon "Fuzz" Ashford, 71, of Amarillo died Monday, April 11, 2016. Fuzzy was born on September 29, 1945 to Eulis and Helen Ashford. He married Peggy Chandler on July 11, 1976 in New Braunfels. Fuzz and Peggy enjoyed a wonderful life full of adventures. They loved to travel and especially enjoyed their vacations in Jamaica. Fuzz worked for Affiliated Foods for many years servicing restaurants in the Texas Panhandle, Oklahoma, and Kansas area. After retirement, Fuzz was a man of many talents and enjoyed car racing and country music. He is survived his Two brothers, Gerald and Ray; and his four legged special pal, Scamp. He is preceded in death by his wife, Peggy on July 16, 2008. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Amarillo Humane Society, 3501 Osage or a charity of your choice. Rest in peace my friend. Dance with the angels.
