Wesley "Wes" Wiley

Wesley “Wes” Wiley, 62, of Amarillo, passed away on Tuesday, February 20, 2024. Memorial services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, at Lone Star Baptist Church, 2400 S. Arthur St. with Pastor Joshua Jones officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 PM Friday at Cox-Rowley Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Drive.

Wes was born October 14, 1961 in Amarillo, Texas to Donald and Patricia Wiley. He graduated from Tascosa High School in 1979. He was a loving and devoted husband to his wife Terri for over 25 years. She passed away in 2016.

Wes worked for Sid Stout Ford, later Gene Messer Ford. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and building hot rods. Growing up with three brothers, Wes developed a thick skin and a great sense of humor. He had a great love for animals, especially his cat, Sparky. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Wes was preceded in death by his father, Donald Wiley; and his wife, Terri Wiley.

Survivors include his mother, Patricia Wiley of Amarillo; his step-son, Travis Russ (Aimee) of San Antonio, TX; three brothers, Wayne Wiley (Pam), Weldon Wiley, and Dale Wiley (Laura Brown); three grandchildren, Tristan, Trevor, and Lillian; and two great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials may be made to the Amarillo SPCA.
