Wilma Jackson

Wilma Jackson, 88, of Houston passed away Saturday, November 24, 2018. Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 30, 2018 in Llano Cemetery; 2900 South Hayes, Amarillo, Texas 79103. Wilma was born April 6, 1930 in Hobart, Oklahoma to Madison and Jewel Casida. She married Billy Jackson on January 14, 1949. Wilma enjoyed traveling and loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be remembered as a loving mom, sister and Mamaw. Wilma will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Billy Jackson; daughter, Denise Newell and brother, James Casida. Wilma is survived by her daughter, Debbie Demand; sister, Eva Russell; brothers, Jerry Casida and Charles Casida; grandson, Ryan Newell and wife Andrea; granddaughters, Jenny Jorgensen and husband James and Julie Wagner and husband Josh; great grandsons, Jace Jorgensen, Justin Jorgensen, Jax Jorgensen, Joshua Wagner, RJ Newell and Luke Newell; great granddaughters, Avery Wagner, Hailey Newell and Jordyn Newell.
