Yvonne Airhart

Yvonne was born April 1, 1925 in Clarendon, to Fredrick and Ella Mae Hext. She graduated from Happy High School in 1942. She married L.G. Airhart in 1945 at Clovis, NM. He preceded her in death in 1993. Yvonne worked as a secretary for W.C. Bowie Bookkeeping, which later became Travis Taylor Bookkeeping. She was employed there for over 20 years until her retirement. She was proud to be a member of Beta Sigma Phi. She was also a member of First Baptist Church in Amarillo. Survivors include two daughters, Angela Nix and husband Kent of Plano; and Alicia Pool and husband Scott of Stephenville; a grandson, Landon Pool and wife Lilli of Plano; a granddaughter, Roque' Christensen and husband Dan of Lewisville; and three great-grandchildren, Naylan Pool, Aydan Pool, and Adia Pool. The Celebration will be Saturday, November 5 at Kent and Angela Nix's, 3616 Trail Walker Drive in Plano, Texas. We are gathering around 11. Kent is serving lunch, so it might be nice to let Roque' know if you're coming, she's planning the food. Her number is 214-356-9824. It will be very casual, a time to share good memories, a slide show, a time to visit.
