Zada Bell Smith

Zada was born July 28, 1928 in Cooke County, Texas to Edd and Bertie Teague. She married Ray Q. Smith on December 23, 1950 at Amarillo. She collected cook books and loved watching cooking shows. Zada was a member of Washington Avenue Christian Church, Thee Fellowship Sunday School Class and Cameron Baptist Church in Lawton, OK. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ray Q. Smith; a son, Michael Smith; three brothers; and six sisters. She is survived by her children, one daughter, Emily Singleton and husband Larry of Amarillo, 3 sons; David Smith and wife Margaret of Lawton, OK, Joe Smith and wife Anita of Amarillo, and Paul Smith of Anson; 2 grandsons, Dylan and Jackson Smith of Amarillo; and her bonus family grandchildren, Valerie, Seth, Grant, and Olivia Markum of Tuttle, OK; a sister, Odessa Wood of Happy; and a host of nieces and nephews.
