Adam V. Navarro, 58, of Amarillo, died Tuesday, April 30, 2019. Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am Friday at St. Joseph’s Church, 4122 S. Bonham with Fr. Juan Carlos Barragan officiating. Burial will be at Llano East Cemetery. Rosary service will be held at 6:30 pm Thursday at Cox Funeral Home Chapel, 4180 Canyon Dr. Adam was born April 29, 1961 in Floydada to Joe and Anita Navarro. He grew up in Floydada, and moved to Amarillo in 1973. He worked for J. Lee Milligan for 22 years. He was a member of St. Joseph’s Church. Adam was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and riding his Harley. He especially loved a good campfire. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Adam was preceded in death by his father, Joe B. Navarro; and a brother, Edward Navarro. Survivors include a son, Adam Daniel Navarro and wife Marenda of Odessa; a daughter, Kristyna Navarro of Amarillo; his mother, Anita Navarro of Amarillo; three brothers, Ruben Navarro and wife Jean, Jesse Navarro and wife Molly, and Mark Navarro and wife Mindy all of Amarillo; three sisters, Ida King and husband Brian, Judy Navarro, and Mari Ellison and husband Brandon all of Amarillo; and three grandchildren.
