Antonia Rodriguez Obituary

Antonia Rodriguez, 74, of Amarillo, died Sunday, February 16, 2020. Funeral services will be 10:00 am Thursday at HIS Church, 6300 Arden Rd. with Pastor David Brown officiating. Burial will be at Llano Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm Wednesday at Cox-Rowley Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Dr. Antonia was born March 14, 1945 in Borger to Juan and Refugia Andrada. She married Hector Rodriguez, Sr. on September 27, 1962. They moved to Amarillo from Kansas in 1978. Antonia dedicated her life to taking care of her family. In her spare time she was a bargain shopper, and really enjoyed going to garage sales. She loved listening to Christian music and watching TBN. Antonia enjoyed eating out at restaurants. She had affinity for things with beautiful scents, such as candles, etc. She always had one of her granddaughters with her no matter what she was doing. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Antonia was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Hector Rodriguez, Sr.; two brothers, Alfred Andrada and Lupe Andrada; and a sister, Martha Rincones. Survivors include three sons, Hector Rodriguez, Jr. and girlfriend Tina Brown of Lewisville, Ruben Rodriguez, and Rick Rodriguez and wife Sylvia all of Amarillo; a daughter, Faith Nicole Rodriguez and boyfriend James Levario of Amarillo; two brothers, John Andrada and wife Charlotte of Amarillo, and Sammy Andrada and wife Janie of Round Rock; six sisters, Rosa Rodriguez and husband Felipe of Yukon, OK, Rebecca Andrada, Betty Andrada and husband Benny Cardenas all of Garden City, KS, Alberta Flores and husband Aurelio of Ft. Worth, Melda Montanez and husband Arturo of Garden City, KS, and Anita Mata and husband Raymond of Amarillo; and ten grandchildren, Julian, Jurnee, Matthias, Isaiah (Chico), Mikayla, Annalicia, Zailieah, Ariannie, Ronnie, and Zeh’miran.
