Aurora Castillo Obituary

Aurora Castillo, 84, of Amarillo, passed away on May 31, 2021 in Amarillo. No service are scheduled at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Cox-Rowley Funeral Home.

Aurora was born on April 24, 1937 in Linares, Chile. She moved to the United States with her husband and lived most of her life in Amarillo. Aurora enjoyed planting flowers and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved to travel and see new places; Aurora especially enjoyed traveling back home to Chile as often as she could. She was an avid cook and enjoyed spending time in the kitchen surrounded by her family. She will be missed.

Aurora was preceded in death by her parents, and three sisters.

Survivors include her husband, Rafael Castillo of the home; three sons, Marco Castillo and his wife Elaine, Carlos Castillo both of Amarillo and Claudio Castillo and his wife Rebecca of Florida; two granddaughters, Joy and Heather; three great grandchildren, Orion, Joscelyn and Major; five sisters and one brother.
