Barry was born on November 17, 1952 to Arnold Edward and Donna Gayle Fassauer in Amarillo, Texas. He graduated from Palo Duro High School in 1970 where he proudly served as the Loyal Don mascot his senior year.
He married his high school sweetheart, Joy Terry, on June 15, 1973 and they were blessed with two children, Kimberly and Barry, II. Barry and Joy were married for 17 years. Barry was a jack-of-all-trades and a hard worker. Throughout his life, he successfully owned and ran after market car enhancement businesses including BJ’s Auto Accents, Dent Pro, and Dent Busters. He had an eye for detail and was a perfectionist in all areas of his profession. Barry was a lover of music, humming almost everywhere he went. He had a giving heart and loved people. He was a devoted and loving son, brother, father, papaw, uncle and friend and will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
