Benito Rojas

Benito “Lito” Rojas died peacefully on January 7th, 2023 at 10:45 pm at the age of 72. Benny was born on July 7th, 1950 in Dalhart, Texas to his parents Pedro Rojas Sr. and Trini Molina.

Benny worked at Tyson as a supervisor for 30 years. He will be remembered as a honorable man to his coworkers. Filling in and doing overtime to help his team. His heart never showed boundaries to any soul in need. On January 1st 1973 Benny married the love of his life Rosalinda Rojas. They were married for 50 long beautiful years. Benny will always be remembered as the heart and soul of the family. Leaving behind so much love and respect.

A viewing for Benny will be held from 5:00pm-7:00pm at Cox-Rowley Funeral Home. The Memorial ceremony will be held on January 13th, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Cox-Rowley Funeral Home 4180 Canyon Drive Amarillo, Texas.

Benny was proceeded in his death by his parents Pedro Rojas Sr. and Trinidad Molina and brother Henry Torres.

He is survived by his wife Rosalinda Rojas. His three sons Benny Rojas Jr, Benjamin Rojas, Jimmy Rojas and wife Angie Rojas, and Jordan Rojas. His three daughters Aj Rojas, Samantha Peña and husband Rodolpho Peña, and Rochelle Rojas. His brother’s Pete Rojas Jr, Larry Rojas, and Ross Rojas. His sister’s Carmela Rojas, Mary Christine Rojas, Anita Rojas Felker, and Juanita Rojas Garcia. His grandkids Isreal Rojas, Elianna Sonnier, Cienna Rojas and husband Dominick Ramirez, Xaven Rojas, Kiara Sonnier, Andrew Rojas, Jayla Rojas, Adrian Rojas-Bosquez, Payzlee Rojas, Aubrie Peña, Olivia Rojas, and Trevor Peña. Great grandkids Noveli Ramirez, Nelani Ramirez, Za’niyah Rojas, and Khy’ree Rojas.

Survived by loving pets Peanut, Wall-E, Buddy, Suki, Hammy, Woots, Fatso, Tinks, Bell, Lola, Lily, Liberty, Daisy, Loca, Hercules, Wendy, Leonidas, Bean, and Gomi.
