Beverly June (Needham) Cooper

Beverly June Cooper, 79, of Amarillo, went to be with the Lord on April 16, 2022. Memorial services will be 10:00 AM Friday April 22, 2022 at Cox-Rowley Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Drive and Mike Fowler will be officiating.

Beverly was born on May 25, 1942 in Plaska, TX to Claudine Murdock Wilson and Clint Needham. She married Karl Cooper on November 9, 1958 in Amarillo, TX where they lived together and raised their five children. She loved her family, and treasured her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Beverly had a special bond with her mother-in-law Lee Cooper Dodson who preceded her in death in 2004. Beverly enjoyed the many dogs that had resided at her home over the years, she was a great cook and liked to cook for the family, and she enjoyed her plants and trees. While her passing will leave a hole in the lives of those who loved her, there is hope because she knew Jesus as her Lord and Savior.
 

Beverly was preceded in death by her husband, Karl Cooper in 2006, son Brian Cooper in 2013, daughter-in-law Rhonda Cooper in 2015 and son-in-law Chris Caldwell in 2019.
 

Survivors include Barry Cooper of Amarillo, TX, Chris Cooper of Amarillo, TX, Shawn Cooper and wife Kim Cooper of Fletcher, OK and one daughter Lanie Caldwell of Amarillo, TX. Beverly was blessed with twelve grandchildren – Brittany, Tiff, Steffany, Kelsey, Whitney, Colby, Garth, Chance, Chasie, Logan, Kallie and Clell, and 23 great grandchildren.
