Carl Miller Obituary

Carl Dee Miller, 77, of Memphis died Monday, February 17, 2020 in Wheeler. Dee was born January 8, 1943 in Mt. Vernon, Indiana to James (Jim) Barrow Miller and Bernice Catherine Penrod Miller. He attended and graduated from Memphis High School in Memphis, class of 1962. Dee lived and worked in Memphis all of his life. He worked with his brothers, painting homes in and around Hall County, for the family business Miller Bros. Painting. Dee loved Hall County and Memphis; he seldom wanted to travel from there. He believed anything that anyone wanted or needed could be found right there in Hall County. Dee enjoyed hunting and fishing, he even won some trophies in fishing tournaments. He liked watching old western movies and Fox News. Company couldn’t stop by to visit without one or the other on TV. Dee married Cheryl Ann Molder Miller on August 27, 1996 in Memphis and they made their home there for over 23 years. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Bernice Miller and three brothers, Sonny Miller, Kaye Miller and William (Buddy) Miller. Dee is survived by his wife, Cheryl Miller of Memphis, TX; two daughters, Chantel Brooks and husband Larry of Shamrock, TX and Tiffany Rives and husband Mario of Vacaville, CA; a son, Raymond Thomas and wife Winona of Seminole, TX; three brothers, Harold (Chubby) Miller and wife Mary of Memphis, TX, George Miller and wife Judy of Hamilton, TX and Glen Miller and wife Martha of Boerne, TX; three sisters, Ann Miller of Memphis, TX, Jo Worth and husband Eddie of Amarillo, TX and Lulu Keith and husband Skip of Portales, NM; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
