Chad Sechrist Obituary

Chad Sechrist, 37, of Amarillo passed away on Tuesday, September 21, 2021. His family is holding a service at 11:00 AM Saturday at 11110 Choctaw Trail in Amarillo. Arrangements under the direction of Cox-Rowley Funeral Home.

Chad was born on October 15th, 1983 to Kathi Holmes and James Sechrist. He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast and loved being in a garage with friends. To say that he was fiercely loyal and faithful to his family and friends would be a huge understatement. He lived for them and always put others first. He had a way of putting a smile on everyone's face when he walked into the room. He touched every person he came in contact with because his heart and soul truly were one of a kind. He was an amazing father, son, grandson, brother, uncle, nephew and friend.

Chad's pride and joy, his daughter Kadee Lynn, was his most precious and largest accomplishment in life. He best expressed his creativity through food and tattooing. Those who knew him well have eaten his BBQ and proudly wear a tattoo by him!

Chad was preceded in death by his father, James Sechrist; older sister, Michelle Sechrist; grandfather, Earl Holmes; uncle, Michael Holmes; as well as numerous other loved ones.

Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Kadee Lynn Sechrist; his mother Kathi and husband Jarvis of Nolanville; bonus mom, Sabrina and husband Arthur of Amarillo; three brothers, Jake Holmes of Belton, Roger Burditt and wife Rachel of Cedar Park, and Kenny Mueller of Belton; one sister, Nicole Sechrist of Dallas; grandmother, Carolyn Holmes of Nolanville; aunts, Denise Pearson of Colorado Springs and Britney Sechrist of Longmont; as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.
