Cherie Robinson Obituary

In loving memory of Cherie Robinson, a cherished daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother passed away February 24, 2024 surrounded by her loved ones. Celebration of Life services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Wednesday February 28, 2024 at River Fellowship Church, 5211 Bell with Darrell Anderson officiating.

Cherie was born September 5, 1968 to Gus and Sheryl Bates; sister to Gus Stewart Bates, in Ft. Worth TX. She was a fun-loving, and patient soul, known for her role as a prayer warrior and a devoted Jesus freak. Her caring and empathetic nature made her a good listener, always present for those in need. Cherie trusted others openly, never meeting a stranger, and had the remarkable ability to light up a room with her beautiful soul.

Unforgettable in every way, Cherie was kind, had a servant's heart, and was charmingly happy. Her strength, resilience, and extroverted spirit made her a courageous and understanding presence in the lives of those around her. Chatty, energetic, spunky, and high-spirited, she brought enthusiasm and joy to every interaction. Cherie's athletic prowess was exceptional, making her the standout athlete of the family. An outstanding swimmer and diver, she dedicated 10 years to a dance company, showcasing her love for movement and expression. Her love for the ocean reflected her lifelong dream of being a mermaid.

Cherie's zest for life extended to her love for holidays, and her energetic nature made her the life of any celebration. A health fanatic, she maintained a strong interest in Jesus and her family, epitomizing the qualities of a caring daughter. In every sense, Cherie Robinson was the best mother to ever grace the lives of those fortunate enough to know her. May her memory be a source of comfort and inspiration to all who had the privilege of sharing in her vibrant and loving presence.

Cherie leaves behind a legacy of love and strength. She is survived by her husband, Carl Robinson, and leaves behind daughters Chloe Hodges; Kali Purselley, and her beloved grandson, Aries Chrzanowski; her parents Sheryl Bates and Gus Bates III; her brother Gus Stewart Bates.
