Cheryl Rogers Obituary

Cheryl Ann Rogers, 76, of Amarillo, passed away on November 21, 2020 in Amarillo. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Cheryl was born on August 22, 1944 in McAlester, Oklahoma to JP and Cordie Sharp. She married her sweetheart, Johnny Rogers on August 12, 1961 and they spent nearly 60 wonderful years together. Cheryl loved to garden and go fishing. She enjoyed her time with the grandchildren and great grandchildren; they called her “Granny”. Cheryl loved music, especially Elvis Presley. She loved her dogs, Abbygail and Baby. She will be missed.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters and one brother.

Survivors include her husband, Johnny Rogers of the home; three daughters, Renee Lichtie and husband Terry, Kandy Heath and Tracy Meyers; one son, Johnny Rogers; nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren all of Amarillo. Survivors also include a host of additional family and close friends.
