Christopher Rowland
Christopher Glen Rowland 43 of Amarillo, Tx passed away August 1, 2020. He was born April 5, 1977 in Amarillo, Texas, to Jay (Kenni McCool) Rowland.
Chris had fun playing practical jokes on unsuspecting people and had an infectious laugh. He was a Christian baptized in 1990 and could quote the Bible very well. In high school he played football, loved the Dallas Cowboys and watching the WWE professional wrestling matches. Chris especially loved his daughter and spending time with his family, playing board games, card games and lake-swimming. He fondly admired various makes and models of cars as well.
Chris is survived by his parents, James (Kenni) Watkins; his dear daughter, Taryn Rowland; brother, Daron Rowland; his grandparents, Glen (Betty) Noltensmeier; and his spouse, Sabrina Iverson all of Amarillo; extended family, Nissa (Rob) Gilmore, Kelsy Alexander, and Jessica Canterberry, all of College Station. Also left to remember him are many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other friends.
He was preceded in death by his biological father, Jay Rowland.
A service to commemorate his life is planned for Saturday, August 15, 2020 at 3 p.m., located at Cox-Rowley Funeral Home 4180 Canyon Drive, Amarillo, TX 79109.
