Connie was born March 5, 1943 in Lubbock, Texas. He followed in his Daddy’s footsteps and started in the grocery business at 11 years old, continuing on to work at Furr’s, Albertsons, Winn Dixie and United Supermarkets, where he made a multitude of colleagues that respect him and lifelong friends. Connie graduated from Lubbock High School and attended Texas Tech University. He proudly served in the Army National Guard and over the years, lived with his family in Amarillo, San Angelo, Texarkana (AR), Austin, Wichita Falls and Canyon, Texas. Connie spent much of his time being incredibly patient with his large family. He loved basketball (played at Hobbs High), golfing and fishing. He was so happy to be a part of Crossroads Country Church and share the fellowship of believers. He enjoyed great food, reading, watching sports and spending as much time as possible with family. His family and friends were blessed beyond measure by his jovial, humble presence – never one to take credit for even the things he should have. Connie was generous and kind, never hesitating to share the gospel with those he came in contact with. Connie was preceded in death by his parents Frank Jackson and Shirley Jackson Cox, and his stepfather Bill Cox. Connie is survived by his wife Karon Rose Jackson of Canyon, Texas; their daughter Debbie Juday and husband Jeff of Kernersville, North Carolina, granddaughter Jacqueline Wyatt and husband Nick, granddaughter Jessica Juday and great grandchildren Bailey and Benjamin; daughter Christie Deen and husband Kevin of Rockwall, Texas, granddaughter Krista Mixon and husband James and great grandchildren Kaleb, Reagan, Jacob and Madison, grandson Joshua Deen and Paige and great grandchildren Jackson, Elijah, Annabelle, Eli, Blakeley, Finley, Rian and Jamisyn; son Donnie Dale Moore of Dallas, Texas, granddaughter Lauren Roberts and husband Jay and great grandchildren Preston, Evelyn and Danielle, grandson Ethan Moore, and granddaughter Allie Moore; daughter Lisa Presley and husband Mike of San Antonio, Texas; daughter Mandy Sinclair and husband Devin of Panhandle, Texas, grandchildren Savannah Sinclair, Jackson Sinclair and Augustus Sinclair; sister Olivia and husband Mike of Weatherford, Texas; sister-in-law Lylene Robertson of Houston, Texas; and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.
