Curtis R Hall, 79, of Fritch, TX, passed away March 31, 2022 in his home. Graveside services are scheduled for 10:00 AM Saturday, April 9, 2022 at Roaring Springs Cemetery in Motley County. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM Friday April 8, 2022 at Cox-Rowley Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Drive.
Curtis was born July 11, 1942 in Roaring Springs, TX to Clarence and Annie Hall. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. Curtis served in the Vietnam War. He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Combat Infantryman Badge, Vietnam Campaign Medal, and the Purple Heart. Curtis loved to hunt, fish and competition shooting. He enjoyed traveling to his favorite vacation spots, Hawaii and Las Vegas. Curtis loved his family, especially his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Travis Hall and Gene Hall.
Survived by Kathy Hall of Fritch, TX; one son, Ronnie Hall and wife Rita of Alamogordo, NM; two step-daughters, Rachael Gillentine of Daytona, FL; Melissa Skifter and husband Eric of San Antonio, TX; six grandchildren; Devin Hall of Amarillo, TX; Britni Stanush and husband Tyler of San Antonio, TX; Bayle Gillentine and husband Brandon of San Antonio, TX; Tristen Stone of Amarillo, TX; Katie Soldevilla and husband Andy of San Antonio, TX; Hannah Chavez of Belen, NM; two great-grandchildren, Rosalie and Delilah. Survivors also include two nieces; two nephews; and many other family members.
