Daleta Moses Obituary

Daleta Kay Moses of Amarillo passed away May 20th, 2022 in Amarillo. Kay was born on November 29, 1945 in Plainview, Texas to Dale and Oleta Maebeth Smith. She was a hardworking mother who always put others before herself. She was a nurse for over 45 years, she loved tending to others especially her children. In her free time she enjoyed oil painting and crafts. She was a hockey fan and enjoyed going to the games with the kids and grandkids, never missing a game. Her favorite past time was actually spending time with her family, whom she loved dearly. She will be deeply missed.  

 She is preceded in death by her parents and one grandson, Lamar Baker. 

Left to cherish her memory are the daughters, D'Lee Watkins-Hunt and husband David of Panhandle; Dana Huggins and sweet little Zoey of Fort Worth and Sandy Jones and husband Mitch of Amarillo. Sister, Barbara Sue Bankston of Burleson and brother Jerry Don Smith and wife Nancee of Freeport, Tx. Five Grandchildren, Torey Watkins and wife Abigial of Odessa; Anthony Burnett of Lubbock; Tiffany Barnes and husband Desmon'D of Amarillo; Kieffer McBeth and wife Adrienne of Amarillo; Mitchell Jones Jr. and wife Sandra of Amarillo and 16 great grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews.
