Daniel Ross Mudgett, 61 of Amarillo passed away July 25, 2020, at his home in Fort Stockton. No services are scheduled at this time.

Daniel was born November 30, 1958, to Dale and Phyllis Barrett in Amarillo. After graduating from high school he made his way into the United States Military making a career as a Marine. He served his country for 32 years and retired as a Gunnery Sergeant. He loved his country and wasnt afraid to speak up about what he believed in. Daniel later worked for Snyder trucking and Owens Corning before his second retirement. He collected guns, loved to fish and ride his motor cycle. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his granddaughter, Savania Gipson and several close friends.
