David Toler

David Wade Toler, 39, of Amarillo, passed away on Thursday June 3, 2021 at his home. Memorial services will be 2:00 PM Monday June 7, 2021 at Cox-Rowley Funeral Home Chapel, 4180 Canyon Dr., with David Walker officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 - 4:00 PM Sunday June 6, 2021. Arrangements are under the direction of Cox-Rowley Funeral Home. 

David was born on April 15, 1982 in Enid, Oklahoma to David and Freida Toler. David married the love of his life Jenev Timmons in Beaver Dam, KY on September 5, 2009  and again on September 12, 2009 in Amarillo, TX. David leaves behind a powerful legacy of love and commitment to those around him. He will be remembered for his love to others and his love for life itself. He was a comedian at heart who loved to sing and listen to music. David loved his cars and collecting several different things; some of which include, video games and action figures. He could play several instruments including the guitar, fiddle and most recently the banjo. David’s family will remember “little David” as a happy and loving character who never failed to put smiles on their faces.

David was preceded in death by his two grandfathers, Bill Hall and Jimmy Toler; one grandmother, Betty Bledsoe.

Survivors include his wife, Jenev Toler of the home; parents, David and Freida Toler; all of Amarillo; honorary sisters, Gina Wright of Amarillo and Meagan Hancock of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; two grandmothers, Donna Hall of Blackwell, Oklahoma and Marie Toler of Amarillo. Survivors also include a host of several close Aunts, Uncles, and numerous cousins. David also leaves behind several close friends, and coworkers, and his dogs whom he valued greatly.
