Dennis Hart

Dennis Hart, 61 passed away February 18, 2021 in Amarillo, Texas where he was born and raised. Services will be held at Cox-Rowley Funeral Home on Wednesday February 24, 2021 at 2 pm. Visitation will be Tuesday February 23, 2021 from 5pm-7pm. 

Dennis was born December 11, 1959 to James Hart and Catherinn Corcoran in Amarillo, Texas. Dennis graduated from Tascosa High School in 1979 and married his high school sweetheart Joni Strader on June 30, 1979. He worked at Ben E Keith foods up until his passing. Dennis was known to be a jack of all trades and a master of none as he worked as a roofer, mechanic and loved to build things.

Dennis is survived by his wife of 42 years, Joni Hart, Three daughters and spouses: Ginny Hakimi (John), Candy Graham(Scott), Cassandra Banes(Anthony), two sons Brent Hart and Chad Hart, and six grandkids: Katlyn Mathis, Isaiah Hakimi, Matthew Hakimi, Andrew Hakimi, Kelsey Graham and Kaiden Graham.  He had 3 brothers, 4 sisters and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by both parents and one grandkid, Caymen Graham.

Dennis was a living Christian man who loved Jesus and his family very much. He will be greatly missed by all his loved ones and dearest friends.
