Dianna Woods, 68, of Amarillo, passed away Sunday, October 4, 2020, surrounded by her family. Graveside services will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, October 8, 2020, at Llano Cemetery with Marc Woods officiating. Dianna will be available for viewing Wednesday, October 7, 2020, from 12:00 – 8:00 P.M. at Cox-Rowley Funeral Home.
Dianna was born August 20, 1952, to Jim and Jo Ann Hughes in Roswell, New Mexico. She always had fond memories as a child growing up around Riverside New Mexico and spending time with her grandparents. Dianna married her Husband Steve on June 3, 1972, and they spent 48 wonderful years together. She graduated from West Texas University with her Bachelors in Business Administration and worked as an accountant for several years. Dianna enjoyed quilting, wood-working and traveling. She loved to scuba dive, spend time outdoors and being in and around water; Dianna also loved the ocean and seeing the fish in the clear blue water. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother-in-law, Ronney Wilson.
Survivors include her husband Steven Woods, of the home; one son, Marc Woods of Allan; two daughters, Anne Woods and wife Stella of Amarillo, and Melissa Woods of Roswell, NM; two sisters, Sandie Crane and husband Dean, and Marcie Wilson both of Greenville; one brother, Steve Hughes and wife Robin of Roswell, New Mexico; four grandchildren, Brieanna Rich, Chase Rich, Xander Woods and Zailey Woods.
