Donnie Lee Price

Donnie Lee Price, 77, of Amarillo, passed away on April 19, 2023. Funeral services will be held on April 22, 2023 at 10am at Westminster Presbyterian Church with a reception following. 

Donnie was born on October 6, 1945 to CC and Pearl Price in Amarillo, Texas. He graduated from Amarillo High in 1963 and remained a true Sandie his entire life. He married the love of his life, Jan, on January 18, 1969 and they enjoyed 54 beautiful years together. Donnie and Jan had 3 daughters and spent their time together traveling around the country. You could always find Donnie fishing and hunting, being outside was his happy place. If you knew Donnie, you knew how much he loved his 60’s and Folk Music. Donnie was blessed with grandchildren, where he was renamed “Baba”. Donnie loved each of them so much and was so proud of them. 

He is survived by his loving wife, Jan; his 4 daughters; Shannon Hetrick and husband Chad, Tifany Wyatt, Brittany Isom and husband Jeff, Julie Hawkins and husband Gary; and grandchildren, Taylor and Payton Hetrick, Madelyn, Will and Alana Wyatt, Ginelle Manning and husband Mike, Jacob and Abby Isom, Zachary and wife Mackenzie, Taylor and and wife Caitlin, Emily and Sarah Hawkins, along with many friends and family that love him dearly.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to be made to “Bear Paws” at Westminster Presbyterian Church.
