Dwayne Earl Davis

Dwayne Earl Davis passed away Sunday February 16, 2020. Funeral Services will be held 10:00 am Wednesday February 19, 2020 at Cox-Rowley funeral Home chapel. Family will receive friends for an evening visitation Tuesday February 18, 2020 from 5-7 PM.  

Dwayne was born February 11, 1972 in Amarillo, TX. He attended high school in Ennis TX; from a young age his mother remembers that he had an adventurous heart. He enjoyed fishing and was a hard worker and always dedicated to the task at hand. He was a jack of all trades, but spent most of his career as a plumber. Dwayne loved his daughters more than words could say, he was always willing to jump in and help with girl scouts or support them in their sporting events. Dwayne would even take his girls fishing whenever they were asked; Put simply, he went out of his way to make sure his girls where happy. His daughters will always remember him as a wonderful father. Dwayne never met a stranger, he spread joy wherever he went, and his smile and laugh could light up a room. Dwayne had a lasting sense of humor.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Earl and Iola Davis; a grandmother Juanda Hare.

Survivors include two daughters, Leigh Ann Gonzales and husband Gil, Ashley Aguirre and husband Jesus; one step daughter Eden Charlton; his fiancée Echo Charlton; his father, Kenneth Davis; his mother, Laura Wright and step-father, Gerald; one brother, Ken Davis and wife Angie; one sister, M’Shell Casida and husband Terrel; his grandfather, Alton Hare; five grandchildren, Eric, Lane, Brandon, Jase, and Jessie; survivors also included a host of Aunts, Uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
