Elizabeth Cronic

Elizabeth Cronic, 71, of Amarillo passed away Tuesday, November 27, 2018. There are no services scheduled at this time. Elizabeth was born August 8, 1947 in Boise City, Oklahoma to Esteban and Juanita Leal. Elizabeth enjoyed scrapbooking and spending time with her family. She especially cherished the laughter and funny moments with her grandchildren. Elizabeth had an amazing personality and cared about everyone around her. She was a member of The Order of The Eastern Star and opened many doors for women in Bloomington, Illinois. Elizabeth was the first woman laborer and started a community center in Bloomington. She was full of life and loved her family dearly. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Gilbert Leal; sister, Rebecca Escontriaz; brother-in-law, Jessie Limer and son-in-law Michael Grizzard. She is survived by her husband, James Cronic; daughter, Jamie Cronic-Grizzard; grandsons, Dustin Cronic and wife Leslie, Blake Myrick and wife Ashley and Sturgius Parke and wife Ariel; brother, Cassie Leal and wife Martha; sister, Kathy Limer and 13 great grandchildren.
