Frances Williams, 87, of Amarillo went into the arms of Jesus on Thursday April 23, 2020. There are no services scheduled at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Cox-Rowley Funeral Home.
Frances was born in Kenna, New Mexico on December 20, 1932, to Bill and Cleatus Naylor. She married her sweetheart Curley Williams on December 16, 1955, in New Mexico. They spent 46 years together before Curley preceded her in death on July 6, 2001. Frances enjoyed the beauty of God’s nature, especially flowers and trees. She spent many years of her life working in a nursery. Frances loved Jesus, and spent her quiet time reading her Bible and enjoyed the traditional hymns and worship music. She enjoyed chocolate and a cold Coca Cola, and if Jeopardy was on you could bet Frances was watching.
Frances was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two brothers; and one sister.
Survivors include one son, Rick Williams and his wife Kathy of Canyon; one daughter, Carla Margis and husband John of Carrizozo, NM; seven grandchildren, Amber, Garrett, and Colt Williams, Weston Bare, Chris, Andy, and Stephen Margis. Survivors also include a host of additional family and friends.
