Gail Bryan, 84, of Amarillo, passed away on Sunday March 5, 2023. Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Friday March 10, 2023 at Memory Gardens Cemetery with Dr. Buddy Young officiating. Gail will be available for viewing on Thursday March 9, 2023 from 5:00 – 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Cox-Rowley Funeral Home.
Gail was born in Crowell, Texas to Gerald and Mary Knox on August 24, 1938. She was baptized in 1951 by the First Christian Church. Gail attended West Texas A&M University where she received her Masters of Education. She was a school teacher for over 24 years before she retired. Gail enjoyed spending time in her yard, gardening, and planting flowers and working with her roses. She was a talented seamstress and loved to sew in her younger days. Gail also worked with stained glass, and had an eye for beautiful and delicate things. She was loved by so many and will be missed.
Gail was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Carl Bryan and one daughter, Knoxie Kathrine Dilger.
Survivors include her son, Tommy Pittillo (Patti Pinion) of Amarillo; her daughter, Melissa Marshall (Aaron Paxton) of Utah; one sister, Bettie Bell of Crowell and one brother, Gerry Knox of Quanah; six grandchildren, Dee Pittillo (Kelsi), Samra Gette (Alex), Brittany Lewis, Chelsea Brown (Ricky), Taylor Mitchell (Jackson) and Adam Dilger (Shannon); 12 great grandchildren. Survivors also include a host of additional family and close friends.
