Gina Marie Garcia

Gina Marie Garcia (Wakeland) of Midland Texas, passed away January 27th in Amarillo Texas. Gina lost her life after a long battle with diabetes with both of her daughters by her side. Gina was born on August 1965 in Lubbock, Texas. Gina graduated from Lubbock High School in 1983.

Gina worked as a home health provider for Morning Glory Adult Care Home for about 7 years. She was always great when it came to carrying for others and helping others with things. After leaving Morning Glory she went to work for Your Place Bar for 10 years where she gained so many loving friends.

Gina loved baking for her family and friends and made sure to never miss anybody’s birthday. Gina was always a very hard worker when it came to her jobs and was always there when needed.

Gina will forever be missed and survived by her parents Jerrie (Kenneth) Scroggins of Lubbock, TX, Tommy (Patsy) Wakeland of Midland, TX, her two daughters Regina Majors of Midland, Tx, and Katherine Craig of Aurora, Co, siblings: Thomas Wakeland of Kerrville, TX, Aimee Wakeland Allen of Midland, TX, Billy (Carie) Powell of Lubbock, TX, Matthew Maul of Pampa, TX, and grandchildren: Jacoby Jordan of Midland, TX, Zakiah Majors of Midland, TX and Zayda Mitchell of Midland, TX.

Gina will be missed dearly by all her family and friends, but we do know that she is at peace with our heavenly father.

A celebration of life will follow at a later time yet to be determined.
