Isaac Shay Morris

Isaac Shay Morris, 39, of Amarillo, passed away on Saturday, August 19, 2023. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, August 26, 2023 at St. Laurence Catholic Church, 2300 N. Spring St. Rosary service will be held at 6:30 PM Friday at Cox-Rowley Funeral Home Chapel, 4180 Canyon Drive.

Isaac was born October 30, 1983 in Dumas, Texas to Corinna Morris and David Morris. He graduated from Dalhart High School, and attended South Plains College for diesel mechanics. He worked as a mechanic for Affiliated Foods for several years. Isaac was an encourager for people who were struggling. He had a strong faith in God, and he loved sharing that faith with other people. Isaac had an awesome sense of humor and could always lift people’s spirits if they were down. He had a very welcoming, non-judgmental and generous heart. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bob and Vera Morris, and Lucia Luna.

Survivors include five daughters, Denyse Morris, Naomy Morris, Makayla Morris, Monica Morris, Francis Morris; three sons, Isaac Morris, Jr., Jonah Morris, Joseph Harvey; his mother, Corinna Morris; his father, David Morris and wife Jody; his sister, Ana Avalos and husband Ralph; and two grandchildren, Mileena and Autumn.
