Janie Sue Davis 68 of Amarillo passed away Sunday November 17, 2019. She was born December 10, 1950, in Ripley Tennessee to Mary Louise and Robert Edward Davis, Sr. Janie married the late James W. Lowin. Janie was a selfless servant, most of the minutes, hours, and days of her life were devoted to the kind service of others. Her vocation was the presence of care and compassion. She was not interested in power, popularity, wealth, position, or prestige. She embraced the simplicity of life, she loved the beauty in the details of God’s creation. She helped provide for her family as a baker, chef, nurturer, and house cleaner; but found her place making a home for those she loved. She was uniquely designed by God to be His hands and feet to people.
