Jimmy Lee Walton, 75, passed away September 10, 2023 surrounded by his loved ones. Memorial services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Friday September 15, 2023 at Cox-Rowley Funeral Home with Dr. Buddy Young officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Cox-Rowley Funeral Home.
Jimmy was born August 30, 1948 in Liberal, Kansas to Cecil and Lillie Walton. He attended Liberal High School. Jimmy proudly served his country in the United States Army. He worked at Tyson Foods in maintence for over 25 years. Jimmy enjoyed crafting, decorating, and thrifting. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and fast cars. Jimmy loved to dance, especially to Country-Western music. He was a huge Elvis Presley fan, even visited Graceland several times. Jimmy was an avid car collector of model cars, he enjoyed putting them together as well as collecting them. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Shirley; his brother, Marvin.
Survivors include his daughter, Andrea Mayhew and husband Neil of Amarillo; three sons, Dalee Walton and wife Jennifer of Arizona; Scott Walton and wife Brandy of Amarillo; Michael Walton of Amarillo; 11 grandchildren; Austin Talmo; Jacie Talmo; Chloe Mayhew; Gabe Walton; Ethan Walton; Ashley Walton; Kaleb Walton; Brendon Walton; Devin Walton; Roni Walton; Tori Walton; 7 great-grandchildren. Survivors also include a host of other family members and dear friends.
