Judith "Judy" Lee (Hardy) Perales

Judith Lee Perales of Amarillo passed away peacefully, with family at her side, on August 27, 2020. She was born January 7, 1943 to Raymond Earl Hardy and Mildred Murrell Pendleton in Amarillo, Texas. Visitation will be Sunday, August 30, 2020, from 12 noon to 5 p.m. and a Funeral Service on Monday, August 31, 2020, 11 a.m. presided by Kyle Wade, at Cox Rowley Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Drive, Amarillo, TX. Following the service will be a graveside committal at Llano Cemetery, 2900 S Hayes St, Amarillo, TX.

Judy was an avid traveler who enjoyed the outdoors and camping. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and her cherished children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Judy was always present at all of the kids’ activities to provide her loving support.  Judy had fun gambling; she liked to play the slots. She enjoyed shopping, making arts & crafts, creating ceramic pieces, and very much liked to attend craft shows. Judy was a huge Elvis fan and loved Boy George too. She was fond of her furry friend, Lilly the dog. Judy is survived by her children, Gregg (Angela) Paxton, Michelle Perales (Sammy Valadez), all of Amarillo; her loving grandchildren, Alicia (Kevin) SanMiguel of San Antonio, TX,  Melissa (Jeremiah) Wiechmann of Candian,TX, Anthony (Melissa) Ramirez of Acworth, GA, and Israel Sotelo of Amarillo, TX; her beloved great grandchildren, Cooper Aguirre, Hazel Wiechmann, and Orlando Ramirez.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a brother Bob Hardy.
