Larry D. Britten

Larry D. Britten, 67, of Amarillo, passed away on Wednesday, February 3, 2021. No services are scheduled at this time. Larry was born June 16, 1953 in Groom, Texas to Norbert and Zoah Britten. He graduated from Groom High School, and went on to attend Clarendon College. He married Donna Walker on November 15, 1996 in Floydada. Larry worked for Randall County Feed Yard for 18 years, and for Tulia Feed Yard for 23 years, retiring in 2011 as mill manager. In his spare time, Larry enjoyed fishing, hunting, and playing golf. He was a big fan of high school football, no matter who was playing. Larry was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Donna Britten; five sons, Cole Britten and wife Shelley of Umbarger, Skeet Britten, Billy Joe Britten and wife Sheree all of Canyon, Drake Carrasco and wife Meagan, and Trevor Carrasco all of Amarillo; three brothers, Glen Britten and wife Beatrice of Anadarco, OK, Jimmy Britten of Groom, and Johnny Britten and wife Karen of Alvarado; a sister, Debbie Hanning and husband Buster of Wheeler; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
