During her time teaching she had the pleasure of meeting former President Jimmy Carter and First Lady Barbara Bush. Margaret has been a part of the Amarillo Community since 1959. She met and married her former husband here and raised her five children here. Margaret loved the Lord and was a faithful member of San Jacinto Assembly of God Church where she taught Sunday school for many years. Margaret was an avid gardener who enjoyed yard work and being outdoors. She could also spend endless hours in her kitchen and loved to cook. She raised five of the most wonderful, loving, and giving children. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
