Marisol Broxterman Obituary

Marisol Broxterman 46, of Amarillo passed away on September 29, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. Visitation will be Monday, October 3, 2022 from 5-7 at Cox-Rowley Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at 10 am at St. Thomas the Apostle Church 4100 Coulter St. Marisol was born April 26, 1976 in Tulia, TX to Joaquin and Hortencia Herrera. She attended Tulia public schools and graduated from Tulia High School. She met her soulmate Kenneth Broxterman and they were married in 2010. Marisol loved her family and was always there for them and anyone in need. She could make anyone laugh or smile. She enjoyed life whether it was dancing, or just hanging out with people. She was a hardworking, strong and helpful person. She was a fighter and a warrior, never giving up no matter the outcome. She worked at Walmart for 28 years and enjoyed and loved every one of her co-workers. She was a loving kind soul who will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her brother David Herrera and niece Sofia Herrera.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband Kenneth, her children Jasmine Langerbacher and husband Justin, Andrew Martinez, Anthony Martinez and wife Elysia, Adriana Martinez and husband Skylar Olivas and Theodore Broxterman. Parents Joaquin and Hortencia Herrera. Grandchildren Arlo Martinez, Darous, Malachi and Braylen Langerbacher. Siblings Joaquin Herrera and wife Marilu, Jorge Herrera and wife Martha, Auden Herrera and wife Lisa, Christina Boatright and husband Richard and Ulices Herrera and wife Amy. And many nieces and nephews along with many friends.
