Mary Beard Obituary

Mary Frances Beard, 69, of Amarillo, passed away Saturday, June 20, 2020. No services are scheduled at this time. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Cox-Rowley Funeral Home.

Mary was born February 20, 1951, to Raymond and Erma Blum in Freeport, Illinois. She graduated from Aquin High School in 1969. She moved to Amarillo in 1973, and has made this her home since. Mary was an avid crossword puzzler and enjoyed her cats and dogs. She spent her free time playing cards with friends. Mary was preceded in death by her parents; and one sister, Carolyn Blum.

Survivors include one daughter, Laura Teichmann and husband Conan of Amarillo; three sisters, Alice Duray of Aurora, Colorado, Berniece Gee of Amarillo, and Antoinette Blum and husband Jerry of Grand Rapids, Minnesota; two brothers, Orville Blum of Hereford, Laurence Blum and wife Patti of Kimball, Minnesota; two grandchildren, Courtney Holeman and husband Robert, and Chris Teichmann both of Amarillo.
