Mary Ruth (West) Falke

Mary Ruth West Falke, age 68, of Amarillo, was called back to her heavenly home on Wednesday April 18, 2024.

A memorial gathering to celebrate Mary will be held on Tuesday April 23, 2024 at 10am at Comanche Trail Church of Christ, 2700 SE 34th Ave., Amarillo, TX 79103. Pastor Mark DeLeon officiating.

Mary was born in Pasadena, Texas to her parents, Paul and Wanda West, on June 1, 1955. Mary attended and graduated from Abilene Christian High School in 1973. She went on to become a Licensed Vocational Nurse, a job she took seriously. She always took the time to make sure her patients felt loved and cared for.

Mary met the love of her life, Terry Falke, in Abilene. They eventually married and enjoyed 44 wonderful years together.

With her contagious laughter, loving spirit, mischievous and playful personality, Mary was loved and cherished by everyone she met.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Don West.

Mary’s memory and love will be forever cherished by those she left behind: her husband Terry; two precious daughters, Enjoli DeLeon and husband Chris; Jennifer Amerson and husband Matt; seven grandchildren that she adored, Mattie, Jacob, Evan, Cade, Colton, Landon, and Brayden; her sister, Nova Field of Abilene, TX; her brother, Paul West and wife Jane of Albuquerque, NM; her parents-in-law, Lloyd and Charlene Falke; brothers-in-law, Ken Falke and wife Cheryl, Randy Falke and wife Cindy; and a whole host of other loving family members and friends.
