Obituary
Mary Fussell, 90, of Amarillo, passed away on August 24, 2023. Graveside Services will be 10:00 AM, Friday, September 1, 2023 at Llano Cemetery. Mary will be available for viewing from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Thursday August 31, 2023 at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Cox-Rowley Funeral Home.
Mary was born on October 15, 1932 in Gober, Texas to James and Gladys Hale. She graduated from Dumas High School. Mary was a kind and outspoken lady who enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved to crochet in her spare time, and would often donate her work to charity. Mary had a fun and spontaneous personality. She liked going to the casino, talking politics and loved to travel in her younger years. She coveted time with her family and loved being at family gatherings. Mary was loved by her family and everyone she met. She will be missed.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Eddie Dean Fussell; one sister, Barbara Blackwell; one grandson, Chris Kopeski and her companion, Bill (Buzz) Daniels.
Survivors include her three sons, Eddie Fussell of Hale Center; Scott Fussell and Rick Fussell, both of Amarillo; 7 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and 2 nephews.
