Michael "Mike" Dalrymple

Michael “Mike” Dalrymple, 70, of Amarillo, passed away on Sunday, May 2, 2021. Celebration of Life services will be 2:00 PM Friday at Cox-Rowley Funeral Home Chapel, 4180 Canyon Drive, with Rev. Dr. Brian Hesse of Trinity Lutheran Church officiating.

Mike was born May 4, 1950 in Amarillo. He graduated from Amarillo High School. He married Marilyn Johnson on June 19, 1986. They have enjoyed 35 years of marriage together. Mike worked for a printing company for many years prior to taking ownership of Snow White Bakery with Marilyn. The couple owned and operated the bakery for 20 years, until they retired in 2018. In his spare time, Mike lived on the golf course. He even had a hole-in-one! He was an avid animal lover and rescued many animals over the years. He adored his pets. Mike will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Emma Griffith; his step-father, Homer Griffith; and a sister, Earlene Read.

Survivors include his wife, Marilyn Dalrymple; three daughters, Leslie McGill of Lubbock, Lisa Flowers of Amarillo, and Terri Brown and husband Eric of Guymon, OK; two sons, Kasey Dalrymple, and Greg Johnson and wife Heather of Amarillo; a sister, Vicki Basille; and eight grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church School Scholarship Fund, 5005 I-40, Amarillo, TX 79106.
