Obituary
Miriam Ramirez Eudy, 67, of Amarillo, passed away on Saturday, August 12, 2023. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Friday at Cox-Rowley Funeral Home Chapel, 4180 Canyon Drive. Viewing will begin at 12:00 PM on Thursday. Burial will be at Llano Cemetery.
Miriam was born August 13, 1955 in Guatamala to Justo Cantoral and Desidera Ramirez. She came to the U.S. in 1975, which led many of her family members to move here as well. She worked at Asarco and also Amarillo Country Club. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening and shopping. Years ago, she created beautifully unique Christmas trees. Miriam was a charitable, giving person, but remained very humble about it. She spoke her mind and always honored her word. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Jose Maria Ramirez.
Survivors include her son, Japhet Arisai Eudy; three brothers, Edgar Ramirez and wife Blanca, Ariel Ramirez and wife Angelica, and Jimmy Ramirez and wife Melissa; two sisters, Noemi Sargent and Yolanda Ramirez; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great nephews.
