Bill was born February 1, 1942 in Kentucky. He grew up in Michigan, but has lived in Florida for the last 45 years. He married Paula and together, they raised a daughter and two sons. After they divorced, he married Susie. They enjoyed many years of marriage until Susie’s passing. Bill was an iron worker by trade. He was a member of the Moose Lodge in Hallandale, Florida. In his spare time, he enjoyed tinkering and watching westerns. Bill also enjoyed gambling at casinos; he loved playing the slots. He loved food, and he adored his beloved dog Teddy, who recently passed away. Bill will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Susie; and several siblings.

Survivors include a daughter, April Philips and husband Corey of Amarillo; two sons, Jason “Jake” Ammons and Erik Ammons and wife Annie all of Amarillo; four grandchildren, Hayden Ammons, Meaghan Carlton, Bret Clark, and Tyler Mosbaugh; two brothers, Jimmy Ammons of Kentucky, and Mike Ammons of Michigan; and two sisters, Diane and Louri both of Michigan.
