Nadine Keeton

Nadine Keeton, 93, of Amarillo, walked into the arms of Jesus on Thursday September 09, 2021. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday September 14, 2021 at Cox-Rowley Funeral Home with Pastor Ivon Williams officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Cox-Rowley Funeral Home.

Nadine was born on February 14, 1928 to Asa and Goldie Powell in Amarillo. Nadine enjoyed cooking and crochet. She was home to her family and loved being surrounded by her grandchildren. She was an avid reader and enjoyed a good word search. Nadine was a giver and never failed to help others throughout her life, she never met a stranger. Her family will remember her as an energetic, vivacious, hardworking and loving mother. She was loved and will be deeply missed.

Nadine was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Roy Keeton; one infant daughter, Judy Keeton; three sons, Earl Keeton, David Keeton and Jimmy Keeton; two brothers, Eugene Powell and Virgil Powell; two great grandsons, Lane Tolleson and Landon Pike; two granddaughters, Jaimie Downing and Tiara Roberts; one great-great grandson, Mac Kelley.

Survivors include her four daughters, June Ince (Donald) of Amarillo, Julie Tabor (Robert) of Borger, Linda Tyer of Emory, and Loretta Birkenfeld of Amarillo; one son, Gary Keeton of Missouri; three sisters, Lena Eldrige, Leola Hammers and Peggy Powell; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Survivors also include a host of extended family and friends.
