Nicky Allan Linley

Nicky Allan Linley, 67, of Howardwick, passed away October 12, 2020, in Claude, TX. Memorial Services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 16, 2020, at Cox-Rowley Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Drive with Pastor Sheldon DeVries officiating.

Nicky was born December 29, 1952, in Amarillo to Dewey and Betty Linley. He graduated from Palo Duro High School in 1971. Nicky was an exceptional athlete at a young age, especially when it came to playing football. He was talented in all sports and really enjoyed pouring his heart into the game. He could always find a good deal, and really enjoyed trading and dealing. Nicky enjoyed spending time on the lake, fishing and was an avid water skier. He had a sweet tooth and enjoyed a cold coke. Nicky will be remembered for his kind heart and soft spirit, always wanting to know how his family was doing; He cared deeply for them. Nicky was preceded in death by his parents; Dewey and Betty Linley; grandparents, Admiral and Grace Linley; one son, Matthew Linley Golden.

Survivors include one daughter, Christi Lancaster; three brothers, Mark Linley, Greg Linley and wife Vicki and Jeff Linley; one sister, Kim Vest and husband Mike; three grandchildren and one great grandchild. Survivors also include a host nieces, nephews and additional family members.

In leiu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to Meal On Wheels of Clarendon.
