Patricia Hernandez Gonzales

Patricia Hernandez Gonzales, 56, of Amarillo, passed away on Sunday May 23, 2021 in Amarillo. Celebration of Life services will be 2:00 PM Thursday May 27, 2021 at Cox-Rowley Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Drive. Burial will follow at Llano Cemetery. Patricia will be available for viewing on Wednesday from 12:00 – 8:00 PM and Thursday from 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM.

Patricia was born on February 3, 1965 to Juan and Felipa Hernandez in Brady, Texas. Patricia was a preschool teacher in her early years, teaching from peoples’ homes. She would later dedicate her life to her family as a stay at home mother and grandmother. Patricia loved spending quality time with her family and taking care of her grandchildren as well. She enjoyed dancing and loved music. Patricia and her husband, Juan, have been married for 31 wonderful years. She will be missed by all who loved her.

Patricia was preceded in death by both sets of her grandparents; Felipe and Luz Hernandez and Trinidad and Marcos Escobedo; one granddaughter, Serenity Bella Hernandez Ojeda.

Survivors include her husband, Juan “Ricky” Gonzales of the home, one son, Juan Gonzales and wife Bri of Amarillo; two daughters, Marisela Ruiz and husband Eddie of Hereford and Michelle Gonzales and her fiancé, Trenton Roth both of Amarillo; her parents, Juan and Felipa Hernandez of Hereford; one brother, Samuel Hernandez and wife Lupe of Hereford; 14 grandchildren, Christopher, Deven, Elexis, Nariah, Zachariah, Jeremiah, Jadyn, Aybrie, Cameron, Maverick, Julius, Markus, Denzel, Devin and Autumn. Survivors also include a host of additional family and close friends.
