Pauline Bavousett, 70, of Amarillo passed away May 17, 2020. Viewing for friends will be from 7-8 p.m. on Thursday, May 21, at Cox-Rowley Funeral Home Chapel, 4180 Canyon Drive. The family cares about everyone’s safety so guests are required to wear a mask and practice social distancing while at the funeral home. The funeral home is required to restrict the number of guests in the facility at one time. The funeral service will be at 2:00 pm Friday, May 22, with Brian Mashburn officiating. Due to limited seating in the chapel, friends are encouraged to view the live stream of the service on the Cox-Rowley Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/CoxRowleyFuneralHome/. Pauline was born October 13, 1949 to Royce and Mildred Womack in Slaton, Texas. She married Terry Bavousett in Canyon on March 27, 2004. Pauline earned her baccalaureate degree in Social Work from West Texas State University. She worked as a social worker for Saint Anthony’s Hospital and Hospice, as well as Little Miracles International Adoptions until she retired in 2003. She was an active member of Southwest Church of Christ in Amarillo. She was also a talented jewelry maker and enjoyed participating in craft fairs. She loved making people happy with her jewelry. Pauline prayed over each piece of jewelry she made. She was well known for her smile, laughter and hugs and she will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Pauline was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband, Terry Bavousett of the home; two daughters, Misty Clemmer and husband Chris , and Crystal Bouldin and husband Marcus all of Irving, TX; one step-son, James Bavousett of Grand Prairie; one son, Luke Öett of Houston; two grandchildren, Madison Bouldin, and Cambley Gray; two sisters, Eileen Womack of Amarillo, and Roycille Yarborough.
