Pierre Ford, 54, of Amarillo, passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2020. Due to the current community regulations regarding large gatherings, a private Viewing will take place at the funeral home. A Memorial service will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Cox-Rowley Funeral Home.
Pierre Ford was born in Newport, Arkansas on March 20, 1966, to Freddie and Dorothy Cane. He graduated from Newport High school and would eventually make his way to the Amarillo Panhandle area. Pierre was married to his wife Debra for over twenty-five years, they were very happy together. Pierre was employed with Tyson Foods for over 25 years as a package handler until his death. He was an avid Miami Dolphins fan. He loved to fish, listening to his blues and drinking his Bush. Pierre was preceded in death by his parents.
Pierre leaves to cherish his memories his wife Debra Ford of the home, two sons Tywonne Mosby, Fredrick (Brittney) Mosby, and one daughter Dorothy Mosby all of Amarillo, Texas. Three brothers J.L. (Claudia) Friar and Gary Cain, of Amarillo, Texas and Lamont Wheeler of Little Rock, Arkansas. Three sisters Freda (Harlan) Sanders of Batesville, Arkansas, Stacie (Michael) Hearne of Little Rock, Arkansas and Starla (Byron) Patillo of Buffalo, New York . Four grandchildren, Tyrese, Daniel, Fredarius, Emeri, and Kenzliee all of Amarillo, Texas and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
