Rodolfo Perez

Rodolfo Perez, 82, of Amarillo passed away on January 16, 2022. Services are scheduled for 10:00 AM on Friday January 21, 2022 at Our Lady of Guadalupe with Father Gomez officiating. The family will accepting friends from 5:00-7:00 PM on Thursday January 20, 2022 at Cox-Rowley Funeral Home 4180 Canyon Drive. Arrangements are under the direction of Cox-Rowley Funeral Home.

Rodolfo Perez was born May 26, 1939 in Brownsville, TX to Daniel and Delfina Perez. He married Manuela Esquivel on June 21, 1960 at St. Roberts Church in El Campo, TX. Together they shared 61 years of marriage, four beautiful children and many memories. Rodolfo was always smiling, he had a very contagious smile. He was a compassionate man who was always willing to help anyone in need. Rodolfo had a booth in the local flea market where he loved to socialize with everyone. He was a hard worker, which he instilled into his children. Rodolfo and his son Pasi started Perez Lawn Service. He loved to collect coins and jewelry. Rodolfo also enjoyed the Dallas Cowboys. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Delfina Perez; half-brother, Juan Aranda; brother, Rafael Perez.

Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Manuela of the home; two sons, Rudy Perez JR and wife Yvonne of Amarillo; Pasi Perez of Amarillo; two daughters Carol Ruiz and husband Jaime of Amarillo; Christina Rossnagel and husband Steve of Lubbock; ten grandchildren, Jacqie Mata and husband Daniel of Canyon; Erika Perez of Muleshoe; Nick Perez and wife Dee Dee of Amarillo; Gabby Perez of Muleshoe; Nathan Subealdea and wife Karina of Amarillo; Javy Perez of Lubbock; Ryan Perez of Amarillo; Alexandria Ruiz of Amarillo; Arle Rossnagel of Lubbock; Kristopher Rossnagel of Lubbock. Survivors also include fourteen great-grandchildren and other numerous family members.
