Ron Britt, 50, of Amarillo, passed away on Saturday August 5, 2023. Celebration of life services will be at 2:00 PM August 18, 2023, at Cox-Rowley Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Chadick officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Cox-Rowley Funeral Home.

Ron was born on May 21, 1973, in Amarillo to Robert and Reva Britt. He graduated from Palo Duro High school in 1991. Directly following graduation, Ron was a member of the United States Army and proudly served his country. Ron worked for Tyson for several years before moving to Hitech of Texas as an Equipment Technician. He enjoyed being outdoors, grilling at home and even the occasional baseball game. Ron loved to be at home and spend time with his family. He loved to fish, hunt and go off-roading.
Ron was good with his hands and could fix about anything. He worked with 3D printing and was extremely computer savvy. In his free time, Ron would build his own computers and listen to good music. He enjoyed Texas Red Dirt music and good traditional country. Ron and his son, Kyler could often be found playing video games like Call of Duty and Red Dead Redemption. Ron was a cowboy at heart and always sported his pair of boots and cowboy hat.
Survivors include his son, Kyler Britt of the home; his parents, Robert and Reva Britt of Amarillo; one aunt, Kathy Catlin; one brother, Robert Britt Jr; five sisters, Berta Long and husband Bobby of Amarillo, Theresa Britt of Kerrville, Retha (Janie) Britt, Ronda Vernaza, and Elizabeth Johnson and husband Steve of Conroe; two grandchildren, Dottie Harris and James Wyatt Haskins.
