Ronnie was born November 13, 1951 in Wellington to Hubert and Flora Savage, but his father was Eugene Debs Baker. He graduated from Amarillo High School. Ronnie was a welder in Amarillo for several years. His family considers him to be one of the best welders in the panhandle and he took his trade very seriously. Ronnie was a stern character but a fierce and loyal friend who would give the shirt off his back to anyone he felt really deserved it. He was a devoted husband, father and Papa and enjoyed spending time with his family. Ronnie was a man of few words, but knowing Ronnie you knew that's about all he needed. He enjoyed fishing in his free time and was a prankster at heart. He will be missed.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife and mother to his children, Darlene Savage; several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include his wife Lisa Savage of the home; one son, Ricky Savage and his wife Vanessa of Amarillo; four daughters, Jammy Savage of Spearman, Ashley Dubois, Angel White and Michelle White all of Amarillo; three sisters, Wanda Atkinson, Dolly, and Juanita; two brothers, David Baker and Don Savage; six grandsons, Justin, Jordan, Ashton, Little Jordan, Hayden and Zayden.
